Warrior Lounge Chair:

Naturally-born warriors carry some type of secrecy, internal struggle. The crinkle pattern (tufted) on the back of both backrest cushions represent what’s hidden under the warrior's mask. From the side view you can notice that everything sharpens out as it moves forward (from back to front). This is how warriors cope with their internal struggle, as they heal themselves their mind becomes sharper, awareness becomes sharper. Every wood component like the front leg and the overall frame of the chair start thick from the back, but as they move forward they start to taper out naturally. Nothing forced. Slow movement, creating nice sharp lines. The soft curves up against the sharp lines seduce the user and it almost creates the entry point into the product. Familiar lines that invite the user to look more closely and use the product. The chunky back legs serve as the root of this chair, creating stability while also highlighting the start of the timeline as a warrior's mind begins to sharpen.
